Hi! I'm Nicolai, an Illustrator based in the Philippines

I’ve worked for several bands throughout the years, starting from illustrations for my friend's musical projects to pioneers in the local music industry. I can safely say I made my footing in illustration through cover artworks. Each project had their own sets of limitations and considerations, but what was common with how I worked was there was mutual trust between me and the artists. They allowed me to have a certain amount of creative control, and for the most part, that amount of control is dictated by the song itself.
