The process for designing the package was spearheaded by me and Datu Arellano, a local visual artist, musician, and graphic designer. We spent a lot of the time studying wine packages, mainly the experience of pulling the product out of the package, then letting the package itself be part of the experience after. Out of that, we created the lantern concept, wherein the box was concealed in a jacket and the fans could turn the box into a lantern if they wished.
Then came the problem of what products to put in and how. The band wanted to go all out with the album, so we planned to package the songs in a flash drive, which seemed like an uncommon idea for the local mainstream music scene at the time. Along with it was a postcard of the album artwork, and the booklet for the lyrics. I suggested that we add even more postcards, initially thinking photocards, because I love kpop, but their audience didn’t see them as idols, so I pitched that we add artwork instead, artwork for every song.

The package design was meant to recreate the main subject in the cover art, the massive "lantern" structure so the audience would be able to display it in their own spaces. The four sides of the top cube had windows where a lightsource can emanate a glow of light.
Afer making the prototype, we sent it over to the printhouse and they handled the final measure-
ments, I had the template early in the process, and we finalized everything once the band was sure in what songs to put in and the sequence they wanted them to be in, which all happened afer 4 months afer the initial meeting. Within that timeframe, I worked on the rest of the artwork while the band recorded the album.

We initially planned to have only one cover art encompassing the entire album, but we decided to go the extra mile and illustrate something for each song. All illustrations were printed as postcards packaged along with the album.
